Fourth-semester management students went on a field trip to Toronto. Accompanied by Prof. Dr. Bernhard Ostheimer, they visited the University of Toronto and experienced Freshman Rush. Other stops on the trip included SAP Canada, the HDI Global SE Canada branch, the German Consulate General, the German-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Canada), and German Films at the Toronto Film Festival. They also visited City of Toronto, the Goethe-Institut, and the digital innovation hub of CIBC, one of Canada’s largest banks. It was an impressive, exciting field trip shaped by Toronto’s international character.
In 2019, field trips for the master’s programs had already taken our students to South, Central, and North America. In the spring, they traveled to Bogotá, Panama, and Cuba. A week ago, the IT students were in Seattle, and now the last group has traveled to Canada.
