International Presentation and Professional Exchange in Colorado Springs

In November 2025, Karl-Albrecht Klinge and Konstantin Geist attended the World Congress on Railway Research (WCRR) in Colorado Springs (USA) to present the MINOS project to an international audience of experts.

From November 17–21, 2025, Karl-Albrecht Klinge and Konstantin Geist attended the World Congress on Railway Research (WCRR) in Colorado Springs, USA. This internationally oriented conference is considered one of the key platforms for exchanging ideas on current research and development topics in the railway sector and brought together experts from academia, industry, and infrastructure operators.

During the congress, they presented the MINOS project to a diverse international audience of experts. They not only outlined the project’s objectives and current status but also situated the work within the context of ongoing developments in the field of railway standardization. In particular, it became clear how closely technical innovations and standardization processes are linked and what role projects like MINOS can play in shaping future developments.

In addition to the technical presentations, they displayed a poster that visually highlighted key aspects of the project and served as an accessible starting point for further discussions. The poster proved to be an important starting point for in-depth technical discussions and facilitated an intensive exchange with the participants. In this way, the team was not only able to gather feedback from different perspectives but also to establish new contacts and explore potential collaborations.
