One of the highlights of this year’s trade show appearance was a visit by three groups of high school students on October 18, organized by Working Group 1 of the DVW, Society for Geodesy, Geoinformation, and Land Management e.V. Angelique Prüß, who has been supporting the department as an assistant since October, gave the students a tour of the booth and explained what the two fields of geoinformatics and surveying entail. As a former student in this field, she was able to provide those present with in-depth insight into the corresponding bachelor’s and master’s degree programs and highlight the career opportunities that the program offers.
