Once again this year, Prof. Dr. Anja Wittstock represented Mainz University of Applied Sciences at the International Week—known as “Freezing Week”—held by HAMK - HÄME University of Applied Sciences from February 2 to 7, 2020. This year’s Freezing Week focused on the theme “Responsible Business,” which was explored through presentations by the participating guest lecturers. A total of 39 lecturers from twelve countries and eighteen different universities participated. Prof. Dr. Anja Wittstock gave a lecture on the topic “Responsible Investment – Profit or Loss?”
The topic of “Responsible Business” was explored in workshops covering five different thematic areas by 270 students from the Business Administration, Business Design, and Business IT programs, among others, under the guidance of the visiting lecturers, and presented to a committee at the end of the week. The topics were assigned by Interreg Baltic Sea Region, Hämeen liitto Regional Council of Häme, and the European Regional Development Fund.
