On Monday, September 29, a ceremony was held to welcome around 570 first-year students from the Schools of Design and Engineering to the Holzstraße location.
In her welcoming address, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Susanne Weissman, emphasized the spirit of community at the university. The Deans of the Schools of Design and Engineering, Prof. Olaf Hirschberg and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Garg, also extended a warm welcome to the new students.

Orientation week
This welcome event in the auditorium at the Holzstraße location also marks the start of the orientation week, during which students get to know their fellow students, teaching staff, student representatives, and the university’s locations.
