Starting in the 2020/21 winter semester, Mainz University of Applied Sciences is offering an app for students designed to make their daily academic life easier. The app provides clear, easy-to-access information on managing daily academic life (e.g., checking emails or renewing library books). For more information, visit: https://uninow.de/faq.
With its integrated room-tracking module, the app also enables GDPR-compliant digital contact tracing should it become necessary in the event of a COVID-19 infection. The app, which is free for students at Mainz University of Applied Sciences, can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play under the name “UniNow – Study and Career.” It’s easy to use: Users simply select “Mainz University of Applied Sciences” and can then access all services.
The UniNow app is already being used by the AStA and the Business Administration Student Council at Mainz University of Applied Sciences. Anyone who installs the app can also subscribe to updates from these student organizations.
