Interdisciplinary student teams from the bachelor’s programs in Interior Architecture and Communication Design at Mainz University of Applied Sciences developed various artistic and scenographic projects for the public spaces in Mainz between Schillerplatz (LUX) and Gutenbergplatz (State Theater), as well as for Mainz University of Applied Sciences, the House of Remembrance—for Democracy and Acceptance in Mainz, and social media.
Through text-based design, artistic and scenographic installations, participatory interventions, and various communicative formats, we aim to call for broader engagement against violence against women and to offer support to those affected.
A publication on the WE ORANGE THE WORLD project was released in early 2023.
