Psychological support for university staff and students

The staff and students of Mainz University of Applied Sciences deeply sympathize with those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. Our sympathy also goes to all the relatives of the victims. Mainz University of Applied Sciences fully supports the statement of the German Rectors’ Conference on the catastrophic effects of the earthquake. In particular, we express our deepest sympathy to the Turkish and Syrian university community in both countries, as well as in Germany, especially to those affected and to the relatives of the victims.
Those affiliated with the university who wish to receive psychological support as a result of the devastating events can contact the university’s psychological counseling services:

If you would like to help those in need in the regions affected by the earthquake, you can do so, for example, by making a financial donation to the alliance of German aid organizations Aktion Deutschland hilft.
