As part of the GOAL project, students in the Corporate Finance track of the Bachelor’s program at the School of Business at Mainz University of Applied Sciences traveled to Santiago with Prof. Dr. Markus Hehn. At the partner university, Universidad del Desarrollo, they presented their project work on the topic of “Green Finance” together with Chilean students.
The program was complemented by exciting field trips into the Chilean banking and financial sectors. Among other stops, the participants visited the German-Chilean Chamber of Industry and Commerce as well as Scotiabank, gaining valuable insights into sustainable financial strategies and German-Chilean economic relations.
A cultural highlight of the trip was the group day trip to the coastal city of Valparaíso. The positive feedback from the students shows that the excursion was an enriching international experience and a special part of their studies at Mainz University of Applied Sciences.
