University participates in city cycling with its own team
This year, Mainz University of Applied Sciences is once again taking part in the “City Cycling” campaign. You can cycle for climate protection as a team member of Mainz University of Applied Sciences.
All staff and students can take part in the campaign under the name of the university. Simply register at www.stadtradeln.de/mainz and join the “Hochschule Mainz” team.
You can enter the kilometers cycled during the campaign time period online or track them using the city cycling app. Every kilometer counts – the trip to the office or to the university, as well as to the bakery, to the Rhine, to the hair salon or to daycare.

Bike fitting at the university’s Holzstraße location
The bike experts from the Techniker Krankenkasse health insurance company will be taking a close look at bikes free of charge in the courtyard of the university’s Holzstraße location on June 5. Within 15 minutes, they will check essential technical functions and equipment features and adjust the bike ergonomically.

If you don’t have your own bike with you, you can still take part and have everything explained to you on a sample bike.
