During the summer semester, Prof. Dr. Nadiia Barida from Kyiv National Economic University (Ukraine) was a visiting scholar at the Department of Economics at Mainz University of Applied Sciences. Visits by international faculty colleagues offer the opportunity to gain insights into teaching and exchange experiences.
During her visit, Prof. Dr. Barida attended the courses “Finance & Controlling,” “Corporate Finance,” and “Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)” taught by Prof. Dr. Markus Hehn. She found the seminar-style teaching format, with its intensive exchange between instructors and students, particularly interesting.
She also took part in the field trip to LBBW’s Inside Corporate Day, where she gained insights into the connection between academic education and corporate practice.
In addition to the courses, Prof. Dr. Barida took the opportunity to explore Mainz University of Applied Sciences and the Rhine-Main region.
