Re-registration for the 2026 summer semester is coming up: All students currently enrolled at Mainz University of Applied Sciences who wish to continue their studies in the coming semester must re-register on time.
The re-enrollment deadline is February 6, 2026.
Re-enrollment is completed by transferring the full semester tuition fee of 343 euros (plus any additional fees, if applicable). What matters is not the date of the transfer, but the date the amount is credited to the Landeshochschulkasse account by February 6, 2026, at the latest.
Important: Please note the transfer processing time
Please note that even instant or real-time transfers can take 2–3 business days to clear. To avoid unnecessary delays, we recommend making the transfer as early as possible.
What happens if payment is late?
If the semester fee is received late, a late fee of 25 euros will be charged. In this case, you will receive an electronic late fee notice via the CIM campus management system, which will also specify the grace period for re-enrollment. If you have not re-registered by the end of this grace period, the university will automatically initiate the process of de-enrollment.
How to Check Your Re-enrollment Status
In your personal CIM portal , under “My Studies > Student Services,” you can see whether a re-registration block has been placed (e.g., due to missing documents). In this case, re-registration is only possible after the block has been lifted. Once re-registration is successful, the status “Re-registered for the Summer Semester 2026” will appear in the CIM portal, along with a notification on the homepage of your account.
Student ID Card and Semester Ticket
After successfully re-registering, you will receive:
- Your digital student ID via the “Mainz Campus2Go” app
- Your digital semester ticket via the Mainzer Mobilität app
Does not apply to first-time or new enrollments
Re-registration applies exclusively to currently enrolled students. Anyone enrolling for the first time or re-enrolling at Mainz University of Applied Sciences for the 2026 summer semester is not affected by this.
