Susanne Weissman new member of the board

The president of Mainz University of Applied Sciences, Professor Dr. Susanne Weissman, has been elected to the board of the MAINZ RESEARCH ALLIANCE as Co-Chair on March 4, 2022. Since 2008, the MAINZ RESEARCH ALLIANCE has taken on the task of representing the broad and high-quality expertise in research and technology in and around Mainz. Its purpose is to increase networking between universities, scientific institutions and companies located in Mainz and the surrounding area. The association is also committed to promoting research and science, helping to reinforce Mainz as a center of science and research.

Since March 1, 2022, Professor Dr. Susanne Weissman has also been deputy chair of the Rhineland-Palatinate State University Presidents’ Conference (LHPK). She was elected to the board of the Higher Education Alliance for SMEs (HAfM) in 2020, and has been a member of the Gutenberg Digital Hub’s executive committee since 2021.
