App Hackathon - On April 28 and 29, 2023, an App Hackathon will take place at LUX with the students of the on-the-job master’s degree program in IT Management. The students will work in small, interdisciplinary teams over two days to develop executable apps for use at companies on mobile devices. To do this, they will use the no-code platform OpenAsApp, generously supported by the manufacturer OpenAsApp and SanData/ProTeam, who will be on site in Mainz with several experts. Apps will be developed, for example, for an optimized visit to a trade fair, a project time recording app for small and medium-sized companies, an app to support event planning at companies, an app to survey employee satisfaction and an app for IT hardware asset management. The problems here are often related to the collaborating companies. The App Hackathon is organized by Prof. Dr. Bernhard Ostheimer.
