The Department of Business Administration welcomes Prof. Dr. Sabine Daniel as its new professor of Human Resource Management and Organizational Management. With her, the department gains a proven expert who combines many years of management experience with academic expertise.
Before joining Mainz University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Daniel worked at Deutsche Bank for 18 years. There, she initially spent many years overseeing complex transformation and organizational projects in management consulting and most recently served as Global People Manager, focusing on talent development and HR management.
She already has close ties to Mainz University of Applied Sciences: As a research associate in research funding and development, as well as a lecturer in the bachelor’s and master’s programs of the Department of Business Administration, she gained extensive experience in research and teaching. She earned her Ph.D. on “The Influence of Transformational Leadership on Turnover in Teams” at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg in cooperation with Mainz University of Applied Sciences.
With her combination of practical experience, research, and teaching, Prof. Dr. Daniel will enrich the Department, particularly in the areas of human resources management and organizational management. She aims to inspire students’ enthusiasm for human resources management, leadership, and academic work, and to guide them on their academic journey.
The Department of Economics looks forward to working with Prof. Dr. Sabine Daniel and extends a warm welcome to her.
