1. Find out about the admissions criteria

Application deadlines, numerus clausus (restricted admissions) and admissions requirements for every degree program are listed on the site for the respective degree program. Before applying to the following degree programs, you will be required to complete an aptitude test. You can find information about the process on the site of the respective degree program:

You have a German higher education entrance qualification and would like to apply to a bachelor's degree program.

With verified foreign academic qualifications

You have a foreign higher education entrance qualification and would like to apply to a bachelor's degree program.

With a German degree

You completed your degree in Germany and would like to apply to a master's degree program.

With a foreign degree

You completed your degree outside of Germany and would like to apply to a master's degree program.

3. Get information on certification details

Officially certified copies must fulfill several formal requirements. To help with this, we have put together a paper with information on the certification of German documents. Applicants with foreign documents can obtain this information from uni-assist.
