Upon enrollment, you received a letter containing the login details for your student IT account and student email address. You must activate your IT account before you can use important university services such as CIM and your student email account, so please activate it as soon as possible.

During orientation week, you will get to know the School of Business, receive important information about your studies, and get useful tips for everyday student life. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with your fellow students.
Orientation week will be held in person on campus at Mainz University of Applied Sciences (Lucy-Hillebrandt-Strasse 2, 55128 Mainz) during the following period:

National Track
If you have a German higher education entrance qualification, you must choose a language module from the “Studium Integrale” catalog. You must make your selection by September 29, 2026. You will receive further information about this during the orientation days.
International Track
If you have an international higher education entrance qualification, you do not need to choose a language module. You will automatically take German as a Foreign Language.
Classes begin on October 5, 2026.
All of the information about your degree program is available on the Bachelor International Business (BSc.IB) info board in OpenOLAT, a web-based learning platform for teaching, learning, assessment, and communication.
To access the platform, you will need a password, which you will receive during the orientation days. You can view your class schedule in CIM (Campus Information Mainz). Log in using your activated IT account and follow the instructions for students.
