Mainz Shines in 2024
From September 26 to 28, 2024, downtown Mainz will once again be transformed into a mesmerizing sea of lights. Students from Mainz University of Applied Sciences, particularly those in the “Time-Based Media” program, will artistically showcase prominent landmarks such as the Rheingoldhalle, the Cathedral, and the Osteiner Hof with creative light installations and video projections.
This year’s festival offers impressive highlights: From the Rheingoldhalle to Schillerplatz, numerous buildings will be bathed in a completely new light through visual mapping and evocative music. The accompanying program includes city tours, special events organized by downtown businesses
as well as extended hours during the “Long Night” on Saturday, September 28.
