EMPOWER

EMPOWER is an inter-university knowledge transfer alliance in Rheinhessen/Vorderpfalz that promotes innovation and knowledge transfer in the Rhine-Main-Neckar region. Five universities are pooling their expertise in future-oriented fields such as connectivity, health, sustainability, cybersecurity, and new work.

The PLSmoN project is developing profile-scanning methods for monitoring infrastructure structures in order to accurately map them, detect changes early, and support maintenance and repair in a more efficient and sustainable manner.

DanceMap

DanceMap is a three-year artistic research project aimed at documenting and highlighting Europe’s dance heritage of the 20th and 21st centuries, in which researchers, artists, and cultural institutions work together to develop new ways to capture and convey embodied knowledge and to strengthen it as an important part of Europe’s cultural heritage.

POWERUP

The POWERUP project is developing strategies and digital tools to accelerate the expansion of renewable energy in Europe while also strengthening public acceptance of large-scale energy projects. These include, among other things, a business model toolkit for fair and sustainable project structures, a co-creation toolkit for stakeholder engagement, and a GIS-based planning tool that consolidates a wide range of data for planning renewable energy projects.

The InnoProm funding program —Innovation and Doctoral Studies of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate—supports application-oriented doctoral projects that drive innovation in companies while also training the next generation of researchers.

Castles on the Upper Rhine 2

"Castles on the Upper Rhine 2" is developing new digital offerings, exhibitions, and tourism initiatives to raise awareness of and bring to life the medieval castle region along the Upper Rhine across national borders. The project strengthens cooperation among partners from Germany, France, and Switzerland and promotes the sharing of their shared cultural heritage.
