If you want to work in a widely diversified arena where you can be creatively and responsibly involved in the designing of the places we live in, the bachelor's degree program Civil Engineering is the right choice for you. After successfully concluding your studies, you will be able to assume responsibility for interesting tasks in the planning, designing, calculation and execution of structures.
Our goal is to equip you with the broadest possible knowledge base and deepen your knowledge in the areas related to construction. During your studies, there are three areas to choose from.
The program intends to not only ensure your technical and engineering qualifications, but also to strengthen your autonomy and creativity, and the awareness of responsible designing in regard to the environment.
The academic degree Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in construction is awarded after completion of the seven-semester degree program.

Expertise and Core Competencies: In the dual degree program in Civil Engineering at our university, you can expect a solid academic education that is closely intertwined with hands-on experience. During the first four semesters, you’ll acquire a broad knowledge base in the core areas of civil engineering, such as materials science, engineering mechanics, sustainable construction, and digitalization processes. Starting in the fifth semester, you’ll then deepen your knowledge in one of the following specializations:
