Mainz University of Applied Sciences’ Department of Media Design is equipped with professional technology for film, sound, and digital post-production. Students have access to the following technical resources at the Wallstraße campus for producing their projects:
- A fully equipped, mobile HD studio with stereo 3D components
- A green-screen studio with 3D-capable HD cameras and professional studio lighting
- Sound studio with a vocal booth and recording capabilities using Cubase
- several editing stations with Apple Power Macs, editing keyboards, and a professional audio system
- PC workstations and Mac pools
- Animation tables for recording analog 2D animation
