International Exchange Lecture Series

The guest lecturer tandem program allows virtual exchanges between lecturers and students of the department of civil engineering at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences and four partner universities from all over the world. As part of a Double Classroom arrangement, tandems hold cooperative lectures. In preparation for a lecture, the respective tandem identifies a topic together. The exchange between the partner universities is further intensified through tandem visits. Due to Covid, no travel was possible in 2021. For this reason, visits took place for the first time in 2022.

The program is part of the project Internationalization at Home at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
