"Media and IT are continuously growing closer together. In the Research Group for Business Informatics and Media Management (WIMM), led by Mr. Prof. Dr. Sven Pagel, we represent this integrative topic in teaching and applied research. Our work focuses on digital media, digital marketing, and digital transformation.
We - an interdisciplinary team consisting of media experts, computer scientists, designers, lawyers and psychologists - focus on human-machine interaction interfaces, UX and customer experience, combining Business Informatics, Media Design and Media Management.
The majority of our partners come from the media, mobility and medicine sectors ('3 M').

The AI-DPA Research College aims to improve and optimise processes across a wide range of industries through the use of artificial intelligence (AI). With a focus on predictive process monitoring (PPM) and advanced data analysis methods, the project seeks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in various fields of application.
DigiMuBi

The project explores how digital tools and formats can enrich music education. It examines the initial situations and requirements, different teaching and learning formats, and the use of digital tools in music education.
DigiKoSMos

The goal of the DigiKoSMos project is to empower third-country nationals who may be interested in returning to their home countries to develop digital skills and use them independently in order to increase their chances of professional and social (re)integration worldwide.
